Beyond Pesticides began in 1981 as the National Coalition Against the Misuse of Pesticides, a non-profit membership organization that was formed to serve as a national network committed to pesticide safety and the adoption of alternative pest management strategies which reduce or eliminate a dependency on toxic chemicals. 

Child Proofing Our Communities Campaign
Child Proofing Our Communities Campaign's philosophy is to teach and empower by helping grassroots groups and individuals to build upon their strengths. Through organizing, leadership development, research and technical assistance, Child Proofing Our Communities empowers individuals with skills and information to make sound judgments and become part of the political decision making process to protect health and natural resources.

Healthy Schools Network
Founded in 1995, Healthy Schools Network, Inc. (HSN) is a national not for profit organization, centered on children's environmental health, and dedicated to assuring every child and school employee an environmentally safe and healthy school.

National Alliance for Nutrition and Activity
The National Alliance for Nutrition and Activity (NANA) advocates national policies and programs to promote healthy eating and physical activity to help reduce the illnesses, disabilities, premature deaths, and costs caused by diet- and inactivity-related diseases.

Public Education Network
Public Education Network (PEN) is a national association of local education funds (LEFs) and individuals working to advance public school reform in low-income communities across our country. PEN believes an active, vocal constituency is the key to ensuring that every child, in every community, benefits from a quality public education.
